Daddy\'s Promise
Artist : Holyfield, John

Open Edition Lithograph
of Father and Child
Signed by John Holyfield
Image Size: 18"w x 24"h

Daddy's Promise was commissioned as the logo for "Daddy's Promise" a national initiative to salute and encourage strong and positive relationships between African-American fathers and daughters. The project is spearheaded by acclaimed television journalist Ed Gordon.
Gordon wanted an image that depicts the love and caring between a father and his "favorite girl." "I think John has shown the special bond that a father and daughter share. I hope this picture of love will find its way into many homes!"
A portion of the sale of this work will be donated to 100 Black Men of America, Inc. The organization is a partner in the "Daddy's Promise" initiative.
